LETHBRIDGE, AB – Work on the Whoop-Up Drive bridge should wrap up in just over a month’s time.
Crews have been working since March on the Eastbound Whoop-Up Drive Bridge Girder Coating project in order to maintain the bridge’s integrity in the long rung.
During this time, traffic on the busy route has seen several speed reductions and lane closures.
Communications Consultant with the City of Lethbridge Meagan Williams confirms that drainage repairs near Scenic Drive should wrap up by the end of this week, while bridge coating is on track to end by October 31st.
