BELLEVUE, AB – The Chambers of Commerce in the Crowsnest Pass and Crowsnest Consolidated High School are hosting all three of the riding’s candidates in this month’s federal election.

One of those in the running is incumbent John Barlow with the Conservative Party of Canada.

He won his seat in the 2014 by-election and was re-elected in the 2015 general election to secure his first full term in office.

The brand new Peoples’ Party of Canada will have Gregory Hession as their local candidate.

He is campaigning on a party platform of significantly-reduced taxes, fewer regulations, and lower overall levels of immigration.

On the opposite end of the political spectrum is Bridget Lacey of the Green Party.

She has spent much of her life studying permaculture and regenerative agriculture and also helped to develop ideas around the Green New Deal in Canada.

The Foothills all candidates forum takes place at the MDM Community Centre in Bellevue on Thursday, October 3rd at 6:00 pm.

If you have not already submitted questions for the candidates, you can do so at the event.
