Snowfall warnings & special weather statements for southwestern Alberta
LETHBRIDGE, AB – UPDATE: As of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for southwestern Alberta with between 20 cm and 50 cm of snow expected over the next couple of days.
Areas included in the warning are Pincher Creek, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Waterton Lakes National Park, Magrath, Crowsnest Pass and the Pikanii Reserve.
Moderately strong, gusty winds are also likely to develop on Wednesday, creating poor visibility in some areas.
If you live south of Calgary and west of Lethbridge, there is a good chance that you are under a winter weather advisory of some kind.
