MADELINE FAY IRVINE (nee MIFFLIN) passed away at the age of 81 years at Edith Cavell Care Centre in Lethbridge with her family by her side. Madeline was a true testament to the farm life. She grew up on a farm near Nobleford until she married Scotty, when they moved to the family farm near Barons. Madeline loved the farm life and her greatest passion was her animals; cats, dog, birds and even a pet skunk. Madeline was a kind and gentle soul who cared deeply for all living things.
Madeline and Scotty raised their 4 children on the family farm: Terry, Gary (Brenda), Lee (Monica) and Barb (Chris). She will be dearly missed by her children and 6 grandchildren: Colby, Connor, Baylee (Mike), Carson, Brandon and Lauren.
Madeline was predeceased by her husband Scotty in 2014 after almost 60 years of marriage. Madeline was also predeceased by her parents (Inga and Charlie Mifflin), her brother (Bob Mifflin) and sister (Charlotte Clark).
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.
