E. SHIRLEY MCCULLOUGH, beloved wife of the late Bob McCullough of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family, at Fairmont Extendicare on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the age of 85 years.
Shirley was the loving mother of three devoted daughters: Patty (Karl) Kaschl of Lloydminster; Linda (Randy) Neufeld of Lethbridge; and Sharon (Gordon) Mitchell of Calgary. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Robbie (Dawn), Ryan, and Shawn (Lindsey) Kaschl; Mandy (Jason) Chudobiak, Josh Neufeld; and Lisa, Scott and Megan Mitchell as well as her great-grandchildren: Quinton, Ashton, Keelan and Kenley Kaschl.
Her husband and the love of her life, Bob, predeceased her in 2003.
Shirley and Bob raised three daughters while running the Lucky Dollar Store in Creelman, SK. They moved to Weyburn, SK. where she started her career with CIBC. After one and a half years in Weyburn, they lived in Calgary for six years before moving to Lethbridge in 1976. Shirley worked at the Main Branch then moved to the Southside CIBC as Manager, where she worked until her retirement. She loved gardening but her passion was baking, a skill she taught all her grandchildren. Her most treasured times were when she was preparing meals for the entire family when they all gathered together.
A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Canon Alan McCuaig officiating.
