ORA SOMMERFELDT, beloved husband of Rose Sommerfeldt, of Magrath, passed away at home after a lengthy illness, on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the age of 82 years.

After his years of farming he then worked with his brother Darrel in the John Deere business and then went to work driving truck for the MD of Cardston for 17 years. He did perfect leather work, as well as he liked to work in his big garden. He was also an avid hunter, motorcycle rider (nearly all his life), and he used to call Square Dancing in Del Bonita and was a very good dancer. In their retirement he and Rose travelled to Yuma for four years, and went on many Chinook Bus tours.
Besides his loving wife Rose, he is survived by his siblings, Donna, Verna, Roma, Ethel and Lynn. He was predeceased by Nola, Darrel and by his parents Auto and Laura. He had a lot of friends, was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
