Jan 21, 2020 | 3:30 PM

FORT MACLEOD, AB – Residents of Fort Macleod can have their say on what a fair deal looks like for Alberta.

The Fair Deal Panel has already made numerous stops across the province, including one in Lethbridge.

“Alberta has been, by far, the biggest contributing province to Canada in recent decades, and a huge engine for jobs and growth,” reads a media release from the Government of Alberta. “However, governments that have long profited from our resources, hard work, and generosity are now working against us as we continue to fight for a fair deal for Alberta and all Albertans.”

The goal of the panel is to learn how best to advance Alberta’s economic interests and to secure a fair deal “within Confederation.”

If you plan to speak at the meeting, you are encouraged to register on the official event page.

The meeting in Fort Macleod takes place on Thursday, February 6 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the GR Davis Administration Building.
