Fairmont Hot Springs public pools re-opened

Jan 24, 2020 | 11:10 PM

FAIRMONT RESORT, B.C. — An email to LethbridgeNewsNOW from Fairmont Hot Springs Resort’s Brookline PR company late Friday (Jan 24) afternoon, indicated the resort’s natural mineral public pools would re-open as of 7:00 that evening.

Regular operational hours would resume on Saturday, January 25.

Following a closure order from the B.C. Provincial Interior Health Authority on January 6, due to safety concerns, the Health Authority has approved all changes that the Resort instituted as additional safety measures for its guests.

The resort maintains the health and safety of their guests “is and has always been our primary concern and we are delighted to have our visitors from near and far enjoy Canada’s largest natural mineral hot springs again.”

“We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary closure caused and are happy to welcome back our guests to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort public pools.”

LethbridgeNewsNOW will follow up with the Health authority in the coming week.
