West side residential fire causes significant smoke damage

LETHBRIDGE – A noon hour call to 911 alerted the Lethbridge fire department to heavy smoke coming from a home on the west side on Friday (Feb 14).

Multiple stations responded to a home on Peigan Court West and contained the fire to a storage room. The house had significant smoke and heat damage.

Investigators were on scene until 7-pm and the fire remains under investigation. Cause of the fire will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.

No one was at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
