Foot traffic on popular Lethbridge trails is one-way
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is asking recreators to follow one-way directional signage in their most popular trails.
To help encourage physical distancing, signs with arrows indicating which direction people should be walking will be added to Henderson Lake, Nicholas Sheran Lake, and the off-leash dog parks.
“If you cannot plan a route that follows a loop or uses multiple pathways and sidewalks, please maintain a safe 2 metre (6 foot) distance at all times. This may mean stepping off the path to let others pass,” reads a media release from the city.
If the path of greenspace is busy, they are asking that you consider moving to a different area.
