WASHINGTON – The President of the United States of America has signaled that immigration to the country could be temporarily halted.
In a tweet Monday evening, Donald Trump said, “In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!”
Just this past weekend, Canada and the United States renewed their commitment to limiting crossings at the northern border to essential travel.
