Police respond to careless driving incident on Highway 3

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police stopped a 70-year-old man on Saturday following a report of careless driving.
LPS stated that on May 2, they received a call about a van driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 3. Lethbridge Police, the RCMP and a Vulcan County Peace Officer attended the area. A 70-year-old man operating the vehicle was stopped.
LPS say that at the conclusion of the investigation, a violation for Careless Driving was issued. No injuries have been reported, and no further details were provided by Lethbridge Police.
