Only one COVID-19 case in Lethbridge remains active
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Government of Alberta is reporting one of the lowest single-day increases in COVID-19 cases since it was declared a pandemic.
On Tuesday, June 2, the province confirmed a baker’s dozen of 13 new cases, bringing the provincial total to 7,057. Of those, 377 cases are still active while 6,537 have recovered.
For the South Health Zone, no additional people have contracted the virus since Monday’s update, leaving it at 1,239 to date. This means just two per cent of all cases in the region so far are still active.
Of the 27 infections that have been reported in Lethbridge during the public health crisis, only one remains active. This is for a person on the west side.
