M.D. of Taber monitoring high river levels in park areas

TABER, AB. — The MD of Taber is monitoring river conditions, particularly the high water marks, to determine if any threat exist to our recreational areas such as the MD of Taber Park.

Currently, the MD Park is OPEN. Staff are on-site, and will be all weekend, watching the river. If any action is to be taken, staff will notify campers and park users.

The Grassy Lake “Forks” is CLOSED, due to impassable flooded roads leading to the campground. The area will be patrolled by the RCMP, CPO’s and MD Staff throughout the weekend.
