Police investigating assault in West Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB– At approximately 11 pm on July 19th, Lethbridge Police were called to the Chinook Regional Hospital on a report of a serious assault.

Hospital staff told police that a male victim had been dropped off at Emergency with serious injuries.

The victim was later transferred to a Calgary hospital in stable condition.

An investigation is underway as the male victim was assaulted at a home along the 100 block of Mount Blakiston Road West.

Investigators are in the process of searching a home in the area and interviewing witnesses and others that may be involved in the assault.
