South Zone sees slow day for COVID, only three cases confirmed
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Government of Alberta has released Wednesday’s report on COVID-19, detailing the numbers over the past 24 hours.
94 cases were confirmed across the province, bringing the total to 11,240. Of those, 1,146 cases are active while 9,891 people have recovered.
Among the new infections, only three were in the South Health Zone with one each in Lethbridge, Cardston County, and the County of Forty Mile.
Another three Albertans have died from COVID-19 including two people in the Central Zone and one in the North Zone. 203 people have succumbed to the virus in the province.
