Coaldale man faces trafficking charges after arrest by RCMP

COALDALE, AB. –– The Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit and Coaldale RCMP arrested a local resident for possession of a stolen licence plate and then located some other interesting items.
A search incidental to the arrest, found the man to be in possession of what is believed to be several controlled substances, including a significant amount of fentanyl (29 grams), cocaine, LSD and mushrooms.
Paul McCarthy, aged 40, has been charged with:
