Deadline extended for Alberta Beef Producers Delegate Nominations
LETHBRIDGE, AB. — Alberta Beef producers have more time to show their interest in helping to guide the province’s beef industry, as the delegate nominations deadline has been extended to October 15.
Melanie Wowk, Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) Vice-Chair, encourages producers to come forward and file nomination papers.
Wowk says it’s an exciting time at ABP, as there are new changes to the organization’s structure, in a completely new elected delegate body.
ABP is looking for active producers that are engaged in the industry and that will provide leadership to the organization. Delegate elections will happen at producer meetings, which will be held across the province at the end of November.
