Lethbridge College leads innovative virtual supply chain conference
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A virtual experience created by Lethbridge College students and faculty is bringing together leaders in Canadian supply chain technology today, September 17.
A capstone event, called Automation in Supply Chain – A Gamified Experience, takes place from 1 to 3:00 p.m. and is presented by Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL), Dematic (a warehousing and supply chain automation leader) and Supply Chain Canada.
The event was almost cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but then, students at the college’s Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) program came together with EDL on a solution.
That solution was to move the conference to a virtual reality setting.
