Online picnic shelter booking service to open Thursday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – You will soon be able to reserve a public picnic shelter for the 2021 season.

The City of Lethbridge’s online booking service will open at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1.

All reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis, as the draw system has been cancelled.

There are eight picnic shelters of varying sizes that can be booked in Lethbridge.

Most are available from May 1 to September 30. Popson Park, the Kiwanis and the Baroness picnic shelters are available year-round.

Bookings for picnic shelters will not be confirmed until payment is received.

All of the shelters in Lethbridge are available for booking up to one year in advance.
