LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks are entering the world of gaming.

With live athletic competition on hold because of COVID-19, the Kodiaks will take part in the first-ever Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Gaming Challenge.

Representatives from at least 14 different schools across the country will compete in a national championship in the game FIFA20.

The Kodiaks will host a pair of institutional tournaments; one for XBOX and one for PlayStation 4. This will determine the Lethbridge College champions that will represent the school on the national level.

The deadline to register for the Kodiaks tournament is October 14, with the competition set for mid-October to mid-November.

All Lethbridge College students enrolled in full-time classes in the Fall 2020 semester are eligible to enter. More details can be found here.

The winner of the entire CCAA tournament will be awarded a custom Jostens ring. The champions of each institutional tournament will each receive special prizing as well.
