Nov 10, 2020 | 1:04 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Four months from now, the trial for Sohil Bindra, 33, of Lethbridge, will commence.

Bindra faces 14 charges for alleged incidents involving six women going as far back as 2017.

The charges include housebreaking, sexual assault, commit sexual assault, administering a noxious substance, drug possession, choking with intent to commit an indictable offence, and failing to comply with release conditions.

He plead not guilty to all counts back in March.

The court process was somewhat delayed this summer when Bindra fired his original lawyer, David Chow of Calgary. He has now retained the services of Calgary-based Andre Ouellette.

In Lethbridge Provincial Court Tuesday, Ouellette confirmed that a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 18, 2020, in advance of the trial proper.

The judge-alone trial is set to take place over 10 days in March 2021.

Bindra remains in custody.
