Two additional COVID cases at CCH

LETHBRIDGE, AB– Holy Spirit Catholic School Division have informed the public of two additional cases of COVID-19 at Catholic Central High School (CCH).

The division is saying these cases are NOT the result of in-school transmission and are instead associated with cases outside of the school community.

Anyone in close contact has been required to isolate while following instructions provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS).

Holy Spirit says, “out of respect for those impacted and in accordance with AHS guidelines, further details about members of the community who may test positive for COVID-19 cannot be disclosed.”

The two cases bring the number of active cases to 11 at three school sites (Ecole St. Mary, Catholic Central High School, and St. Catherine School in Picture Butte), requiring the isolation of roughly 200 staff and students.
