EDMONTON, AB. — The province added 672 COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing Alberta’s total to 35,545.

Due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Wednesday, only a limited update was provided online by Alberta Health Services.

A total of 217 Albertans are hospitalized because of COVID-19, an uptick of ten since Monday night. There are 46 in intensive care, which is an increase of three.

As well, an additional seven deaths were reported, bringing Alberta’s total to 383.

The number of tests completed over the past 24 hours, along with the number of people tested, was unavailable due to ongoing technical issues with the Alberta Health COVID-19 website.

Updated local COVID-19 numbers were also not released. A full update on Alberta’s COVID numbers is expected Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday, both the Holy Spirit and Lethbridge Public Schools reported new COVID-19 cases.
