“Although we certainly want to win on the field it is critical for our community to win as well,” says Team President Anthony Parker.

“We believe that success is more than W’s it will also require us to develop the game at all levels and support those that have given and continue to give to this great game.”

Parker says the Vipers will know the importance of the Southern Alberta community going forward and will focus equally on giving back to the community.

The team says they will hold an information night in the near future for Southern Alberta coaches and interested community members to ask questions regarding what the next steps include.

Details on the information session have not been given.

Fundraising efforts will begin in over the coming weeks as well as the development of the team’s webpage.

Currently, the Vipers are in the process of getting non-profit status.
