Alberta two day COVID number hits 2017 cases
EDMONTON, AB. — After tripping over the 1000 COVID-19 infection mark announced on Saturday, the number slipped down on Sunday (Nov 15). However, the 991 new cases identified are nothing to be proud of.
When those 991 new cases for Saturday are added to the 1026 cases on Friday that brings the two day total to 2017.
There are currently 9,618 active cases in Alberta. Also, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, says she is sad to report an additional six deaths, which takes the provincial death toll to 407.
Five of Saturday’s deaths were in the Edmonton Zone and one was in the Calgary Zone.
