Council hears opposition presentation to overdose prevention site
LETHBRIDGE, AB– An opposition presentation to Lethbridge’s Overdose Prevention Society’s portable tent was provided to City Council at Monday’s meeting.
Those who presented want, “City action to end the illegal Supervised Drug Consumption.”
The tent has been operating since September 25th and has stirred up much criticism.
According to the one presenter and resident, Roy Remus, the tent is serving “Lethbridge’s street people, homeless and drug-addicted.”
