One man charged and a warrant out for another in Honker’s Pub break-in

LETHBRIDGE, AB.– Lethbridge Police have charged two city men in connection with a break and enter that caused substantial damage to a north-side restaurant.

Last Sunday, Nov 29, a small truck drove through the front window of Honkers Pub and Eatery at 2805 5 Ave. N. The culprits were able to steal the ATM located inside the business, which sustained more than $20,000 in damage.

On Thursday, Dec. 3, members of the Lethbridge Police Service Priority Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on a home in the 2700- block of 7 Avenue N. The search found and seized evidence connecting two men to the Honkers break-in.

Travis Robert Taylor, aged 30, is charged with break and enter, breach of undertaking and mischief to property. He was arrested when police executed the search warrant and is being held in custody while awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.

Travis Roy Priest, aged 31, is charged with break and enter and possession of a controlled substance. At the time of this release Priest’s whereabouts were unknown and a warrant is out for his arrest.
