LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has reported another case of COVID-19.

A new case has been confirmed at St. Teresa of Calcutta School in Lethbridge. That means there are now four cases at the school. The division says all close contacts have been informed and are required to isolate.

Holy Spirit could not say whether the positive individual was a staff member or student.

“As always, we continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff,” Holy Spirit said in a release.

As of Wednesday, December 16, the division has six active cases at three of its schools.

There is one case at Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge, one at St. Joseph in Coaldale and four at St. Teresa of Calcutta.

These cases have led to the isolation of roughly 170 staff and students.
