LPS responds to complaints of someone on high-level bridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are assuring the public that there is nothing to worry about.
They were called to the river valley early Thursday afternoon on reports that someone was on the high-level train bridge.
An official with LPS told LNN that they were successfully able to talk the person down. Police are doing what they can to assist the person.
There is no risk to the public.
The high-level bridge is owned by CP Rail. It is illegal to walk on the bridge.
