UPDATED: Police locate suspect and vehicle in hit-and-run, pedestrian remains in hospital

LETHBRIDGE, AB – UPDATE 01/06/2021: Lethbridge Police have confirmed that they have located a suspect and a vehicle in relation to Tuesday’s hit-and-run.

The incident resulted in injuries to a pedestrian in downtown Lethbridge. The investigation is on-going, and no charges have been laid yet, according to LPS.

Police say no further information will be released at this time and no further update is available on the condition of the pedestrian, who remains in hospital.

Police were able to confirm the vehicle fled the scene, making the situation a hit-and-run.

They have an idea of what the make of the vehicle is, but won’t release that information.

Police ask members of the public that if they witnessed the hit-and-run, to notify police.
