Hurricanes mourn death of former player Clay Plume

LETHBRIDGE, AB– The Lethbridge Hurricanes received sad news Thursday morning after hearing a former player for the organization has died.

Clay Plume played for the Canes for three years from 2001-2004, posting 54 points during his time with the team.

“Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and teammates. Clay will be greatly missed,” the Hurricanes posted on Facebook.

Plume, 37, from Standoff, AB, will be remembered as a Hurricane forever, the team says, with the hashtag #ForeverACane.
