EDMONTON, AB – Alberta Premier Jason Kenney is refusing to call out two of his caucus members who are openly challenging his COVID-19 economic restrictions.
Kenney says his United Conservative party believes in free speech and in caucus members voicing the concerns of their constituents.
Legislature members Drew Barnes (Cypress-Medicine Hat) and Angela Pitt (Airdrie-East) have signed on to a national group called End the Lockdowns.
It’s part of Liberty Coalition Canada, which says COVID-19 restrictions are unnecessary, unfair and are making the pandemic worse.
