Court hears Med Hat murder victim was being watched night before his body was found
MEDICINE HAT, AB – A neighbor of murder victim James Satre took the stand Thursday morning at the first-degree murder trial of Robert Hoefman.
Darla Dolan lived two doors down from James Satre on Mill Street back in October 2017. She and her husband Joseph had been out walking their dog on the evening of October 10th.
She testified seeing a man who struck her as odd watching Satre working in his yard. Dolan recalled the man was dressed in black with his hood pulled up to disguise his face. He also had dark bulky sunglasses.
According to Dolan, the man had bad energy, telling court, “I had a bad feeling something wasn’t quite right about this person.”
