Approximately 300 new COVID cases in Alberta Sunday as province updates its tracking system
LETHBRIDGE, AB – An estimated 300 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Alberta on Sunday.
The province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, said system upgrades have resulted in only preliminary numbers being reported for the day.
“This work is nearly complete and we will resume our usual online updates tomorrow,” Hinshaw said on social media.
She noted an additional 54 cases “involving variants of concern”.
