LPS investigating after man found unconscious with head injury in alley

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service is looking into a case where a man was found in a northside alley unconscious.

They were called to the 100 block of 16 Street North around 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 14.

Police says the man had suffered a head injury.

He was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital and later transported by helicopter to Calgary.

“At this time, the cause of the injury is still under investigation, with the matter now in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Section,” reads a statement from LPS to LNN.
