New case of COVID reported at St. Catherine School in Picture Butte

PICTURE BUTTE, AB – A case of COVID has been confirmed at St. Catherine School in Picture Butte.

The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division says all close contacts have been informed and are required to isolate. It could not be reported if the infected individual is a staff member or student.

As of Wednesday night, March 31, there are 10 active cases within the school division:

• One at St. Catherine School in Picture Butte
• Three at Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge
• One at Father Leonard Van Tighem School in Lethbridge
• Two at St. Mary School in Taber
• Two at St. Paul School in Lethbridge
• One at St. Teresa of Calcutta in Lethbridge

These cases have resulted in the isolation of roughly 240 staff and students.
