LPS investigating reports of teens fighting at northside park

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A north Lethbridge skate park was reportedly the scene of a serious fight between a group of youths.

LPS was called to Blackwolf Park on the 200 block of Uplands Boulevard North at 8:15 pm on Tuesday, April 6.

Members of the community told LNN that they witnessed an “awful beating” and that a knife got pulled out on a kid believed to be around 12-13 years old.

When police arrived at the park, the altercation had already ended. They interviewed several people in the area.

“No serious injuries were reported. There were reports of a knife, but no weapon was found.”
