Hurricanes snap losing streak in 4-1 win over Hitmen

LETHBRIDGE, AB– After a multiple-game losing skid, the Lethbridge Hurricanes were able to beat the red hot Calgary Hitmen Sunday.

First Period:

The Hitmen struck first to open the scoring just 2:43 into the contest when Sean Tschigerl scored to make it 1-0 Hitmen.

Canes’ Logan McCutcheon scored his first WHL goal at the 13:47 mark to tie the game 1-1.

Game tied at one goal apiece after one period.

Second Period:

Logan Barlage redirected an Alex Cotton shot four seconds into a power-play to give Lethbridge a 2-1 lead.

Hurricanes led 2-1 after two.

Third Period:

In the third period, the Hurricanes add to the lead as Barlage scores his second goal of the game.

Noah Boyko finishes off the game with a goal to push a three-goal lead.

Hurricanes win 4-1 Sunday.
