Lethbridge Police charge man with property and drug-related offenses
LETHBRIDGE, AB– The Lethbridge Police Service Priority Crimes Unit has laid charges against a man in relation to stolen property connected with several break-ins in southern Alberta.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the 500-block of 23 Street North on April 1, 2021.
Stephen Reidy, 35, of Lethbridge, was ultimately arrested for breach of a release order stemming from a previous charge of break-and-enter to a rural, southern Alberta business.
“Through further investigation and consultation with Gleichen RCMP, Reidy was also charged in relation to an earlier break-in to a rural business near Strathmore, which resulted in theft and damages to property valued at more than $500,000,” the release reads.
