Hurricanes wrap up season with 3-2 overtime loss against Oil Kings
EDMONTON, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes wrapped up an unusual WHL season in Edmonton Tuesday night.
Unfortunately for ‘Canes fans, the Lethbridge club was unable to pick up the win against the dominant Oil Kings, falling 3-2 in overtime.
FIRST PERIOD
The game’s first penalty was called early, only 2:16 into the game with Edmonton’s Scott Atkinson receiving a minor for hooking. Lethbridge, however, was unable to take advantage of the power play opportunity.
