No positive I-D in fatal pedestrian collision on Highway-4
WARNER COUNTY, AB. — Multiple emergency units were called to a fatal collision involving a semi-tractor and a pedestrian on Highway 4, north of Highway 61, just after midnight Monday (July 5).
Raymond-Magrath RCMP responded with the Stirling Fire Department and Lethbridge Emergency Medical Services (EMS), as well as neighbouring RCMP officers from Coaldale and Milk River.
The north-bound semi struck a pedestrian who died at the scene. An initial RCMP Collision analyst investigation indicated the pedestrian was in the driving lane of the semi-tractor at the time of the collision.
The semi driver and a passenger were treated on scene by EMS and released.
