Lethbridge man charged following B&Es at four businesses

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A man was placed behind bars after allegedly committing a series of break and enters at commercial properties in the downtown area.

Andy Troy Spearchief, 34, was arrested on Thursday, July 22 in the area of Stafford Drive South and 1 Ave South.

That occurred after police saw a man who matched CCTV footage from a B&E at the How Sweet Inc. store.

This is the second time that suspects have broken into How Sweet in a little over one month.

LPS later determined that Spearchief reportedly broke into three other Lethbridge businesses over the last few weeks.

Following a bail hearing, he was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on August 5.
