COALDALE, AB – At 1903 20 Avenue in Coaldale, there’s a market that’s a favourite of residents and visitors alike.

“The staff is super friendly and the store is clean and bright. Their meat is excellent and I can almost always find what I need in the store,” wrote one reviewer on Facebook.

“We were worried when we moved to Coaldale that we’d have to drive into Lethbridge all the time for food but this grocery store has a good selection and good prices! The bread and buns are AMAZING!”

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you can also get a fresh treat from the famous Coaldale Bakery, beside the Coaldale Food Market. The bakery has been providing the region with European-style baked goods and Dutch imports since 1986.

“Renowned for our use of real whipping cream in cakes and pastries, an extensive variety of speciality breads and buns as well as beautiful detailing on wedding and event cakes and catering options.”

Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays (excluding holidays).

The bakery promises that, “you will not be disappointed” in your visit to the popular spot.

You can leave the bakery with buns, bread, cakes and pastries.
