Should proof of COVID vaccines be mandatory? Lethbridge Chamber launches survey

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce wants to hear from business owners and operators on what has proven to be a highly divisive topic.

The provincial governments in B.C. and Quebec recently made announcements for mandatory proof of immunization against COVID-19 to access certain non-essential businesses, services, and events.

Cyndi Vos, CEO of the Lethbridge Chamber, says she wants to hear feedback from the business community on this issue.

“We want to see what the feelings of local business owners are, how they can adapt, how quickly they can adapt and what we can do to help them.”

She believes this could be a possibility for local or provincial authorities in Alberta, adding that it would be a good idea to get a sense of what people think before anything potentially happens.
