All in-person programs and events at the library are being moved online and hosted via live stream or on Zoom. Event and program updates are available on the library’s social media channels and website.

All of the outdoor and in-person activities for this coming weekend’s The Word On The Street festival are cancelled, and children’s story time will be moved to a live streaming format. Further details on these changes are available here.

The library says staff will continue to monitor the on-going health situation.

A release from the Lethbridge Public Library stated that, “our number one priority will always be to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers. We are all in instances committed to supporting a continuity of Library services for our community.”

“No further statement will be provided at this time.”

Additionally, all visitors to any branch location are still required to wear a non-medical face mask and practice physical distancing requirements. Medical face mask exemptions will be honoured with a doctor’s note.
