Zachary Hampton running for Lethbridge City Council
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Zachary Hampton believes he has what it takes to break through his 31 competitors and land himself a seat on Lethbridge City Council.
He says division amongst the current council and throughout the community is the primary reason he wanted to run.
“We’ve had a lot of contentious issues over the last four years, from the SCS to the mask mandate, and just seeing our community become more divided as we seem to get further and further into the term, it was alarming for me, not only as a life-long resident but as a political science major.”
He told LNN that, despite his younger age, he already has plenty of applicable experience.
