PINCHER CREEK, AB – Rural communities across the province will soon have the chance to speak with the provincial government.

Between late October and into December, Associate Minister of Rural Economic Development Nate Horner will conduct a series of virtual meetings.

“Supporting local businesses and attracting new investment to Alberta is key to the success of our economic recovery after the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global collapse of energy prices and the worst economic downturn in almost 100 years. All Albertans, urban and rural, should benefit from Alberta’s Recovery Plan.”

Groups being consulted will include rural businesses across various sectors, business associations, chambers of commerce, Indigenous and Metis-owned companies, and industry and community leaders.
