STANLEY JOSEPH “SONNY” BLACK WATER Jr., of the Blood Tribe (Kainai), passed away at his home in Stand Off, Alberta, on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the age of 63 years.

The Celebration of his Life will begin with the Family Service at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME (2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB) on Monday, November 8^th, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. Following that, the family will process to the Wake Service, which will be held at the TANNER CENTENNIAL SENIORS CENTRE (206 – 1 Street West, Cardston, AB), from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. MARY’S IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH (Blood Tribe/Kainai) on Tuesday, November 9^th, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with Father Pawel Andrasz O.M.I. celebrating. Following the Mass, Stanley will be laid to rest at the St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
