LPS charges man with dangerous driving

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has apprehended a man accused of driving dangerously.

At approximately 7:30 am on Monday, November 8, it was reported to police that a vehicle was being driven erratically in the areas of Metis Trail West and Whoop-Up Drive.

They received another five reports from people involving the same vehicle in a short amount of time.

The vehicle was found parked in a parking lot along the 600 block of Keystone Chase.

The driver was still inside the vehicle at the time. Several police cruisers surrounded it to ensure it could not escape.

Ranbir Singh Minhas, 24, of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, was arrested without incident.

He faces one count of Dangerous Driving and is scheduled to appear in court on January 25, 2022.
